"We`ve got a really good time there. The studio was clean and spacious, with a short distance to Goldhawk road and Hammersmith station. The next time I will book there again!"

"The studio is clean, located in quite residential area but very near to Goldhawk station. The respnse of staff was very quick when I report the defect of the standing lamp and the sofa bed. Only one thing disappointed me was that the toilet of the studio was outside which I did not notice before I booked."

For the budget traveller, Iffley rd has the following advantages: location - ease to airport and central london (hammersmith is on the piccadilly line) - close to river and the outer west: Barnes, Richmond, Kingston, Wimbledon. Hammersmith is a good location and the small apartment is good value for 2 people on a careful budget - ok, its not the savoy, but for the flexible ozzie traveller it is comfortable and compact It would suit people inbetween backpacker/uni student and young couple. It would not suit the experienced traveller with a slightly oversized bank account. Hammersmith Broadway has a few good breakfast places and there are good pubs on the river near the bridge."

I was a little nervous about booking, and prepaying for a flat, but the owner, Mal, put me right at ease, and made the transaction easy, and was very accomodating with my requests. The price was right, the bed clean, comfortable; right next to a huge window that was great to sleep under during the heat!
The kitchen area is very tiny, but for a single studio, had all you would need. It was too hot for me to cook, but just having a refridgerator and a microwave was very nice.
The closet is adequate, but not alot of space to lay out a suitcase. Plenty of hooks on the wall, very helpful.
The bathroom was just 50/50 for me. Plenty of storage space in the little cupboards for bathroom things makes up for the lack of shelves. Clean sink and toilet with towels and TP, don't forget your facecloth if you need it! I struggled to figure out the shower, but it was too hot to need a whole lot of hot water!! I am certain Mal would sort it out if you had difficulties with anything in the flat.
My favorite thing about this place was the location. It is entirely in a residential area, which makes it very quiet and peaceful, It is just a few blocks walk to Goldhawk Road, which is the south end of the Shepherds Bush market, which sells fresh foods, and local needs. There is a few take-away places between the tube and the flat, which was really handy. It is about 10-15 minutes walk to Hammersmith station, which is a great area for shopping, eating, etc. AND its on the Picadilly line from Heathrow. Very convenient. The Location could not be better.
The price is just right, you get what you pay for ; no frills, a converted Victorian townhouse room, where space is at a premium. It is truly a studio flat, very tiny, but the location cannot be beat, and the owner fantastic, makes up for all that.

I was on a two week vacation with my daughter and mother and we stayed in Studio 5. The studio was ideal, easily accessible and most importantly, security was assured. Another firm attraction was the nearness to Hammersmith bus and tube stations and Goldhawk road bus and tube stations. There were also a variety of shops at both ends to hold the interest of the most ardent of shopaholics. The location was also ideal for me as I love peaceful and serene environments. I would definitely use the house again for holiday or short stays alone and with family and will recommend to my friends.
